Councilmen

Councilmen executive their provice and fill their functions in accordance with the paragraphs 45 - 51 of the municipal law ČNR no. 367/1990 digest. The council is an executive organ of the town in the sphere of independent province so in the sphere of transferred province. The council is responsible for enforcement of independent province to the local authority. The council is responsible for enforcement of transferred province to the district office.
The council consists of mayor, vice-mayor and in the case of Prachatice other five councillors. A sitting is hold if necessary, usually once two weeks and sittings are not public.
