Organization structure, scope

These two terms are changed so an explanation follows.

Town (Municipality) is a public-legal corporation. It owns properties. It appears in law relations in its name and it is responsible for things following from them. "Town" ("Municipality") (written with a capital letter) is alegal subject. It means every thing, which has to do with properties of the municipality (contracts, invoices, ownership of movable and realty, …) references to the town (municipality).

Town (Municipal) office is not a legal subject, it is an office of the town (municipality) and it consists of mayor, vice-mayor (vice-myzors), secretary of town (municipal) office and office men of the town (municipality). The "town (municipal) office" practise the state execution (executive decisions and administration). It is leaded in the case of execution by district office. (valid to 31. 12. 2002)
